Valu, the leading universal financial technology powerhouse in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and noon Minutes, noon’s quick-commerce platform, announced today a strategic partnership in Egypt, with Valu becoming noon Minutes’ exclusive financial payments provider and first payment partner. The collaboration combines Valu’s flexible payment solutions with noon Minutes’ fast, convenient shopping experience, giving customers greater payment flexibility when shopping for everyday essentials, groceries, household needs, and higher-value purchases.
As part of the partnership, Valu customers can seamlessly pay for their purchases on noon Minutes through Valu, with flexible payment plans of up to 60 months. Customers can also enjoy a faster, more seamless shopping experience through Sparkit, which enables faster and more seamless checkout, and lets them pay for purchases up to 45 days with no additional fees, combining greater flexibility with the speed and convenience of the noon Minutes experience.
The partnership reflects the evolving needs of Egyptian consumers, who increasingly expect digital shopping experiences to offer both speed and financial flexibility. By bringing Valu into the quick-commerce ecosystem, the collaboration expands flexible payments beyond traditional purchase categories and into customers’ everyday shopping journeys.
Early performance since the partnership went live indicates strong customer adoption, with Valu customers demonstrating a clear propensity toward higher-value shopping missions and using noon Minutes for both individual premium purchases and broader household and grocery needs.
Omar Abdelhady, Chief Products and Growth Officer of Valu, said: “At Valu, we are continuously looking for new ways to embed flexible financial solutions into the everyday experiences of our customers. Our partnership with noon Minutes represents a natural extension of this approach, bringing Valu’s payment flexibility into the fast-growing quick-commerce space. By combining convenience, speed, and financial flexibility, we are enabling customers to approach everyday shopping with greater choice while supporting the evolution of Egypt’s digital commerce ecosystem.”
Hussein Heiba, General Manager of noon Minutes Egypt, said: “At noon Minutes, our mission is to make everyday shopping faster, simpler and more accessible for customers across Egypt. Partnering with Valu allows us to take another step in that direction by giving our customers greater flexibility in how they pay for their everyday essentials. We’re excited to combine the speed of our service with Valu’s innovative financial solutions and deliver even more value to our customers.”
The partnership underscores the growing convergence between fintech and digital commerce, as both companies continue to explore new ways to enhance customer choice and create more seamless experiences. Looking ahead, Valu and noon Minutes will build on the partnership’s early momentum to deepen customer engagement and expand the role of flexible payments across a broader range of everyday shopping needs.
